The seller offers for sale this 2015 Harley-Davidson FX, powered by a 1,340 cc V-twin Late Shovelhead engine. This is a purpose-built custom motorcycle constructed around an Edlund rigid frame from 2015, fitted with a Harley-Davidson Late Shovelhead engine featuring an S&S crankcase (type 31-0003, 1996). The build presents in white with flame-detailed seat and fender, showing approximately 5,000 km on the odometer. The vehicle is currently located in Schleswig-Holstein state, Germany, and carries a Swedish registration as a custom-built motorcycle, having been formally approved and documented in Sweden under that classification. No German TÜV is present.
The Harley-Davidson FX lineage traces back to 1971, when Willie G. Davidson combined a Sportster front end with a Big Twin frame to create the Super Glide — the original factory custom. The FX designation became synonymous with stripped-down, no-nonsense Harley-Davidson machines, and inspired generations of custom builders. The Shovelhead engine, produced from 1966 through 1984, earned its name from the rocker covers that resemble inverted coal shovels. It remains a favoured powerplant among custom builders for its character, torque, and suitability for chopper and bobber builds.
This example has been extensively built with quality components throughout: telescopic forks from HOG Supplies at 41 degrees of inclination, Akront 18-inch spoked wheels front and rear, Brembo front brake components, a Mikuni carburettor with K&N RK-3800 filter, Dynatek ignition coils, a fully electronic MTZ1 ignition system, BDL 6-speed belt drive, and an AMC-Tech HD1 classic dual exhaust. Lighting is updated throughout with LED units including Kellermann BL2000 bar-end indicators and JS Parts mini LED rear light. The dashboard features a Koso DL02-S digital speedometer.
