The seller offers for sale this 1968 Vespa Super 125, powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder engine. This is a small-frame Vespa Super 125, restored around eight years ago, with a replacement engine showing fewer than 500 km since fitment. As part of the restoration, a new Dell’Orto 16.16 carburettor was installed along with new brakes, lights and tyres. Since the restoration, the scooter has been used exclusively for show appearances, keeping its condition well preserved.
The Vespa Super 125 was produced by Piaggio from 1965 to 1979 and is among the most celebrated models in the Vespa lineage. The “small frame” designation refers to its more compact bodywork compared to the larger Vespa GS and Rally models of the same era. Powered by a 125 cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine, the Super 125 offered an accessible yet characterful riding experience. Its clean lines, enclosed bodywork and distinctive Italian design have made it a long-standing favourite among scooter collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
