Suzuki S32 | 1965

Highlights:

– 149 cc two-stroke parallel-twin engine
– 9,737 miles indicated on odometer
– Red paintwork with chrome toaster tank
– Original Suzuki type plate present
– Import duties and VAT paid

The professional seller offers for sale this 1965 Suzuki S32, powered by a 149 cc two-stroke parallel-twin engine. Finished in a striking red with a chromed toaster-style tank and textured knee pads, a black bench seat and plenty of brightwork, this S32 has the cheerful, jewel-like appearance that defined the small Japanese twins of the mid-sixties. The odometer indicates 9,737 miles. The original Suzuki type plate is still fitted to the frame, confirming the model, capacity and weight, and the motorcycle retains period details such as the headlight nacelle with integrated speedometer, the chrome exhausts, the valanced fenders and the twin cylinders with their alloy finning. The motorcycle shows noticeable wear and signs of age, and it has been standing, so it will need to be recommissioned before it is used again. It forms a charming and characterful basis for an owner who wants to enjoy or restore a genuine 1960s Suzuki. Import duties and VAT have been paid according to the seller.

The Suzuki S32, also known as the Suzuki 150 and in some markets as the Olympian, was produced from 1965 until the end of 1967. It used a compact air-cooled 149 cc two-stroke twin with forward-inclined alloy cylinders and twin carburettors, producing around 16 hp, a lively output for a machine of this size at the time. Like its bigger brothers it was well equipped, with an electric starter alongside a kick-starter, 12 volt electrics and a four-speed gearbox, all wrapped in a hollow pressed-steel frame inherited from the earlier Colleda Seltwin. Models like the S32 helped Suzuki win over riders around the world in the 1960s by offering refinement, reliability and attractive styling in an affordable package. Today these little twins are increasingly appreciated by collectors as charming examples of the era in which the Japanese motorcycle industry conquered the world.
