Description

Suzuki LT250R QuadRacer | 1988

Highlights:

– 249 cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine
– Predator Suspension shock absorbers
– FMF exhaust silencer
– All import duties and VAT paid

The professional seller offers for sale this 1988 Suzuki LT250R QuadRacer, powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine. Finished in the iconic Suzuki racing combination of bright yellow plastics, a blue frame and a blue seat, this LT250R wears its QuadRacer and 250 graphics proudly and makes an immediate impression. The quad has been upgraded with red Predator Suspension shock absorbers and an FMF exhaust silencer, while a Tusk bar pad, white wheels and knobbly tyres complete its competition-ready look. The bodywork shows clean yellow plastics with the original-style decals and warning labels in place. All import duties and VAT have been paid, and the vehicle is offered with its Canadian documents.

Suzuki created the sport quad category in 1985 with the LT250R QuadRacer, the first purpose-built high-performance four-wheeler. With a liquid-cooled two-stroke single, long-travel suspension and a lightweight chassis, it was designed from the outset for racing and immediately set the benchmark that its rivals had to chase. Through the second half of the eighties the QuadRacer dominated motocross tracks and desert races, and its aggressive yellow and blue styling became a symbol of the golden era of two-stroke quads. Production ended in the early nineties, and today the LT250R is one of the most collectible ATVs ever made, admired by riders and collectors for its raw performance and its place in off-road history.
