The seller offers for sale this 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 cabriolet, powered by a 4.2-litre inline-six engine, paired with a 5-speed manual Tremec gearbox.
Finished in silver-blue metalwork, the car presents in good condition following a comprehensive restoration completed in 2023. The work included a full engine overhaul and tune, the fitting of a new Tremec 5-speed gearbox, a new soft top, and new tyres installed in April 2026. Documented invoices totalling over €40,000 accompany the car, along with a taxation report placing the vehicle’s value at €135,000. The last maintenance was carried out in April 2026. The interior features black leather upholstery with the classic Jaguar wood-rimmed steering wheel, presenting well throughout.

The Jaguar E-Type, produced between 1961 and 1975, is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful production cars ever made. Enzo Ferrari famously called it “the most beautiful car ever built.” The Series 1.5, built in 1967 and 1968, occupies a transitional position in the model’s history: it retained the elegant Series 1 bodywork while incorporating changes that would carry through to the Series 2, including exposed headlights and revised indicators. The 4.2-litre XK straight-six engine, introduced with the Series 1 in 1964, delivered improved torque and a more versatile power delivery than the original 3.8-litre unit. Today, E-Types of this specification are sought after as both driving classics and investment-grade collector cars.
