The private seller offers for sale this 1970 Fiat 500 Biposto, equipped with a tuned 595 cc two-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a five-speed synchromesh manual transmission. The Fiat 500 needs little introduction: since its launch in 1957, the Nuova 500 has been Italy’s best-loved small car, a compact rear-engined city runabout that put a nation on wheels and went on to become a worldwide icon. Its simple air-cooled twin and tiny, cheerful body have inspired tuners, coachbuilders and customisers for more than six decades.

The Biposto is one of the most distinctive of those reinterpretations. According to the seller, it was created by Affari Sbullonati with the help of Italian craftsmen, using a vintage Fiat 500 as the starting point and transforming the bodywork, mechanics and finishing details into an open, sporty two-seater. The car is finished in glossy black with a red leather interior, red carpets and sports seats, white multi-spoke wheels with larger approved tyres, and a lighting design built around ring-style headlamps and auxiliary lamps. The cabin features a sports steering wheel with a Biposto emblem, a cluster of round gauges across a red-trimmed dashboard and a short, exposed gear lever. The seller lists a five-speed synchromesh gearbox with a 9/41 final drive, disc brakes at the front and rear and an adjustable sports suspension. The registration documents list the car as an open two-seater under the “B1 Aperta” approval.

The Biposto was presented at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca show in Bologna in 2026, where it kept the identity of the Fiat 500 while interpreting it through an unconventional, open design. As a unique example, it is aimed at enthusiasts of special cars and collectors looking for something to stand out at rallies and weekend outings.
