The private seller offers for sale this 2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660, powered by a 659 cc parallel-twin engine. Finished in a striking combination of black, grey and signature Aprilia red, with the bold “a” graphic and Tuareg lettering on its flanks, this adventure motorcycle has clearly been enjoyed the way its makers intended, and the photographs show it both on the open road and fully loaded for touring. The odometer indicates 15,600 km, and according to the seller the motorcycle has recently been serviced. It is offered complete with a practical touring package: a set of side cases, a top case, a comfort seat for longer days in the saddle and crash bars protecting the engine and bodywork. Alongside this equipment the Tuareg 660 carries its characteristic adventure features, including spoked wheels with dual-purpose tyres, a tall windscreen, handguards and an engine sump guard, making it a ready-made companion for everything from daily riding to long-distance travel and gravel detours.

The Tuareg name has a special place in Aprilia’s history. In the 1980s the original Tuareg models built the Noale factory’s reputation off-road, riding the wave of desert rallies and the Paris-Dakar era. Aprilia revived the name with a concept at EICMA in 2019, and the production Tuareg 660 arrived in 2021 as a genuine middleweight adventure motorcycle. At its heart is the compact 659 cc parallel-twin derived from the RS 660 sports bike, retuned for strong low and mid-range torque and producing around 80 hp. It sits in a steel frame with long-travel, fully adjustable suspension, a 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheel combination, an 18 litre fuel tank and the APRC electronics suite with multiple riding modes, all in a package that is notably light for its class. The Tuareg soon proved its credentials in competition as well, with a rally version claiming victory at the Africa Eco Race. The result is a motorcycle that blends Italian style with real off-road ability, and that combination has made the Tuareg 660 one of the most talked-about adventure motorcycles of recent years.
