The seller offers for sale this 1975 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Bertone, an original Dutch-delivered car that has undergone a complete rebuild. The result is a striking, driver-focused coupé in Alfa Rosso, restored to near-new condition using a combination of new and original components. During the restoration, the body was stripped to bare metal and treated underneath with Rx5 and Rx10 for optimal rust protection, then repainted in body colour. The exterior has been given a sportier look with removed bumpers (included separately) and filled-in bumper, indicator, and reflector holes, creating a sleek appearance. The car sits on 15-inch Compomotive wheels fitted with new Yokohama Advan Neova tyres, supported by Eibach springs and Bilstein dampers for improved handling.
The interior is nearly new, finished in black with recently installed bucket seats, a new headliner, and restored panels. The dashboard shows only light patina. Mechanically, the car is in very good condition: the 2.0-litre engine has been rebuilt, including carburettors, and now produces 136 hp. The braking and steering systems were also renewed, including master cylinder, lines, calipers, and steering box. The GTV shifts smoothly. It comes with a valid Dutch registration and APK, though now exempt due to its age. The original wheels, spare wheel, and additional parts are included.
The Alfa Romeo GTV 2000, part of the legendary Bertone coupé line, is celebrated for its timeless design and superb driving dynamics. With its rev-happy twin-cam engine, balanced chassis, and unmistakable Italian flair, it has become a favourite among enthusiasts. This example, with its meticulous restoration, performance upgrades, and striking presentation, represents an ideal opportunity to acquire a road-ready, collectible classic that blends originality with spirited character.
