The seller offers for sale this 1993 Ducati 900 Supersport, a classic Italian sport motorcycle powered by a 900cc two-cylinder petrol engine paired with a manual transmission. This example shows 45,100 km and has been carefully maintained throughout its life. The motorcycle was previously registered in Switzerland and spent many years stored carefully in a dry room. Recently a major service was carried out according to manufacturer specifications, including an oil and filter change, replacement of the air filter and a valve clearance inspection. Due to the long storage period the timing belts were renewed, the clutch was replaced, the carburettors were cleaned and both front and rear tyres were renewed. The bike remains in original configuration and has not been modified. The paintwork shows only minor and almost invisible scratches.
The Ducati 900 Supersport is one of the most recognizable sport motorcycles produced by the Italian manufacturer Ducati. Introduced as part of Ducati’s Supersport range, the model became famous for combining lightweight construction, a steel trellis frame and the brand’s distinctive air-cooled L-twin engine. The Supersport line traces its heritage back to Ducati’s racing successes and became popular among enthusiasts who appreciated its engaging riding experience and characteristic desmodromic valve system. During the early 1990s the 900 Supersport gained a reputation for delivering strong mid-range torque, precise handling and a pure mechanical feel that appealed to riders seeking a more traditional sport bike experience. Its unmistakable styling and mechanical simplicity have made it a respected modern classic within the Ducati lineup.
