The seller offers for sale this 1989 Citroën 2CV, powered by a 602 cc two-cylinder petrol engine combined with a manual gearbox. The car was extensively restored six years ago and has since been used mainly for exhibitions and gatherings, later displayed in a small 2CV museum. During restoration, the chassis was replaced, the engine rebuilt with new cylinders and valves, the carburetor overhauled, and clutch and brakes renewed. The body and chassis were repainted, and the interior and dashboard plastics refinished in matching colour. Since completion, only a limited number of kilometers have been driven. The engine starts without issues, runs well and the gearbox shifts smoothly without unusual noises. There is no visible rust or accident damage reported. The paintwork presents attractively with only a small mark on the right headlamp rim.
The current mileage is 126.000 km and it holds a valid technical inspection.
The folding canvas sunroof is described as being in attractive condition, with fabric and stitching showing no visible wear.
