The seller offers for sale this UMM Cournil from 1982, powered by a 2.1 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. This Portuguese-built Jeep is an early short-wheelbase model featuring the rare fold-down windscreen designed for military artillery use. The vehicle has been restored using original parts, based on two military vehicles. The paint is presented in good condition and the interior has been fully renewed. The vehicle includes original military details such as ammunition canvas structures, original jerrican, bonnet-mounted spare wheel support and new military-style gauges and lighting. The car has never been used off-road in recent years and drives approximately 500 kilometres annually. It benefits from valid inspection and ACP Clássicos homologation.

The UMM Cournil traces its roots to rugged French off-road engineering, later produced in Portugal for both civilian and military use. Known for its robust ladder-frame chassis and simple mechanical layout, the Cournil became appreciated for durability and reliability in demanding environments. Today, well-restored examples are increasingly rare and sought after by collectors of military and utility classics. Its utilitarian character, combined with originality and careful restoration, makes it a distinctive and appreciating classic within the European off-road segment.
