The seller offers for sale this 1988 Lancia Delta HF Integrale, a legendary performance hatchback powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a manual gearbox. Delivered new in Germany, the car was imported into the Netherlands in 1994. A dedicated Integrale enthusiast owned the car between 1997 and 2006 and commissioned an engine rebuild at around 130,000 km. Since 2006, the car has remained with the same family and has been carefully maintained. In 2010, the car was repainted in its factory-correct black metallic shade, and the wheels were powder coated. The gearbox was rebuilt in 2013 with renewed bearings and synchromesh rings. The engine starts without issues, produces no unusual smoke or noises, and the gearbox shifts smoothly. The car has not been involved in accidents and shows no rust. Technical upgrades include adjustable Koni dampers, revised rear suspension arms with Powerflex bushings, a stainless steel exhaust system with spaghetti manifold, and selected components from 16v and EVO models. The current documented mileage is 147.200 km
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is widely regarded as one of the most successful rally-derived road cars ever produced. Developed during Lancia’s dominant era in the World Rally Championship, the Integrale combined compact dimensions with advanced four-wheel drive and turbocharged power. Its sharp handling, mechanical grip, and distinctive styling made it an icon both on competition stages and public roads. Today, the Integrale enjoys strong interest among collectors and drivers alike, valued for its motorsport heritage, engaging driving experience, and unmistakable character that defined a generation of performance cars.
