The private seller offers for sale this 2008 Benelli TNT 899, powered by an 898 cc inline-three engine. Finished in gloss black with a two-tone red and black seat, gold upside-down front fork, gold brake calipers and striped black wheels, this Italian naked bike looks every bit as aggressive as its name suggests. It has been in the hands of the current owner since 2016 and is still registered and used by the seller today. The instrument cluster was replaced by the seller after its LED lighting failed, and the mileage at the time of the change was documented, bringing the total to 31,000 km. The original silencer is currently fitted, while a GPR aftermarket silencer is included in the sale for the new owner who prefers a more vocal triple. The German HU inspection has recently been renewed, and the motorcycle is presented in good condition with signs of use consistent with its age and mileage.
Founded in Pesaro in 1911 by the six Benelli brothers, Benelli is the oldest Italian motorcycle manufacturer still in production, with a racing heritage that includes Isle of Man TT and world championship success. After the brand’s revival at the end of the 1990s, the new Benelli made its statement with the Tornado Tre superbike and, shortly after, its naked sibling, the TNT, short for Tornado Naked Tre. With its hybrid steel trellis and cast aluminium frame, radiators mounted in the flanks behind sculpted side panels, insect-like twin headlamps and a high-revving three-cylinder engine with a character entirely its own, the TNT was unlike anything else on the road. The 899 version combines that radical design with a more accessible displacement and a broad spread of torque, making it a charismatic and increasingly collectible alternative to the mainstream naked bikes of its era.
