The seller offers for sale this 1961 Volvo PV 544 C, powered by a 1.8-litre B18 four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission.
This example is finished in mist green, described as an uncommon factory colour. The car has been maintained without compromise over the years and service invoices are available for inspection. In December 2025 a major service was carried out, during which the valves were adjusted, a new ignition lock and door locks were fitted, and a new parking heater and windscreen washer reservoir were installed. The front seats were retrimmed in 2025 and the car comes with two wool front seat covers. A tow bar is fitted. The car has been cared for by Tammeling Autotechniek, an oldtimer specialist, and a valuation report from 2023 is present. A retro roof luggage rack is included with the sale.

The Volvo PV 544 was produced between 1958 and 1965 as a development of the earlier PV 444, retaining the same rounded bodywork inspired by American design trends of the postwar era while receiving a larger windscreen and a number of mechanical improvements. The C designation denotes a higher trim level with more complete equipment. The B18 engine, introduced in the PV 544, became one of the most durable units Volvo produced and formed the basis of the company’s powertrains well into the 1970s. Today the PV 544 is considered one of the most iconic Scandinavian classics, appreciated for its robust construction and characterful styling.
