The seller offers for sale this 1971 Fiat 500F, powered by a 650cc twin-cylinder petrol engine sourced from the Fiat 126, paired with a 4-speed synchronized manual gearbox.
This example is presented in red (colour code 152), having been resprayed from its original white (colour code 233). The car carries the trim details and fittings of the 500L variant and has benefited from a number of recent renewals, including a new front leaf spring, new high-quality door panels, new 3-point seatbelts and new door seals. The 13″ Fiat 500 Abarth alloy wheels are fitted with near-new 135/13 tyres. Notably, the original 500cc engine complete with its transmission, as well as four original wheel hubs with 125/12 wheels, are included in the sale as a package. The car holds a valid Italian roadworthiness certificate through June 2028.

The Fiat 500, introduced in 1957 as the Nuova 500, was conceived as Italy’s answer to affordable personal transport in the post-war years. Designed by Dante Giacosa, the diminutive city car used a rear-mounted, air-cooled twin-cylinder engine and became one of the defining symbols of the Italian economic miracle. The 500F variant, produced from 1965 to 1972, brought suicide-style front-hinged doors and a number of refinements over its predecessors. Its combination of compact dimensions, light weight and simple mechanicals has made it a favourite subject for light modifications and upgrades, and surviving examples in good condition are increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
