Hürlimann was a Swiss agricultural machinery manufacturer founded in 1929 by Hans Hürlimann in Wil, St. Gallen. The company developed its own diesel engines and became known for building technically refined and robust tractors that were regarded as among the highest-quality machines available on the European market. The D70 SSP, produced in the 1960s, was one of the most well-known models in the Hürlimann range. The four-cylinder diesel engine developed approximately 43 horsepower, and the type was well regarded for its smoothness and durability. Hürlimann tractors of this era are now sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of historic agricultural machinery.
