The seller offers for sale this 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Series II, an elegant Italian cabriolet with a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and manual transmission. This Giulietta Spider is fitted with a 5-speed Alfa Romeo gearbox and an engine equipped with Veloce carburetors and air filter. It also features Veloce instruments and 3-leading-shoe front drum brakes. The car was originally sold in the United States, later returned to Italy, and was sold to the current owner in Portugal in 2021. It was registered in Portugal in 2023 and benefits from good suspension, good brakes and a gearbox rebuild carried out in 2025.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider is one of the most admired Italian open-top classics of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Designed by Pininfarina, it combines graceful proportions with the lively character for which Alfa Romeo became famous. The compact twin-cam 4-cylinder engine, light body and engaging manual gearbox make the Giulietta Spider enjoyable on winding roads and relaxed coastal drives alike. The Series II version added subtle refinements while retaining the charm and purity of the early Giulietta line. Today, the model is highly regarded for its beauty, engineering quality and strong connection to Alfa Romeo’s golden era of stylish sports cars.
