The Triumph Stag was developed in the 1970s as a stylish GT convertible, intended to compete with luxury roadsters. This example, originating from the Netherlands and owned by the last owner for no less than 22 years, is a beautiful example of British automotive history. Under the hood is the 3.0 liter V8 engine, which has been overhauled and modified for unleaded petrol in the past. The manual four-speed gearbox is equipped with overdrive. Various technical modifications have been made by the previous owner, including braided stainless steel brake lines, an electronic ignition and an extra Kenlow cooling fan. The suspension rubbers have also been replaced in the past.
The exterior of this Triumph Stag exudes pure elegance with its timeless British Racing Green paintwork. The original hardtop and black soft top provide flexibility for every season. The design is completed by the classic rims and chrome accents that give the Stag its characteristic look. The interior, with some signs of wear here and there, is an atmospheric mix of luxury and sportiness, with black leatherette upholstery and a characterful wooden dashboard. Together with the deep green of the paintwork, this provides a stylish contrast. The paintwork has some signs of wear here and there and could do with a polish.
