The seller offers for sale this 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet (997.1), equipped with a 3.8 litre 6-cylinder petrol engine and manual transmission.
The car was purchased in the USA and imported in Romania. Since then, the car has been stored in a garage and has not been driven.
It retains its original paintwork, with the exception of the front hood, which was repainted in the USA after a tree branch fell on the hood and windshield. The windshield was replaced at that time . The engine runs well, starts without issues. The gearbox shifts smoothly.
The current documented mileage is 69.000 km.
The car is supplied with both a soft top and a hard top. The soft top mechanism operates smoothly and quietly, while the fabric itself requires restoration or renewal due to damage. The hard top is included and is in good condition, with paint and seals reported to be in order. The hard top is not electrically operated.
The Porsche 997 generation marked an important evolution of the iconic 911 lineage, combining classic design cues with modern engineering. Introduced in 2004, the 997 returned to the round headlamp design while offering improved chassis dynamics and refined interior quality. The Carrera S variant features increased engine displacement and performance, delivering a responsive and engaging driving experience. As a Cabriolet, it offers open-air motoring while maintaining the structural integrity and balance for which the 911 is known. Today, the 997.1 Carrera S remains a popular choice among enthusiasts seeking a manual, naturally aspirated 911 with timeless character and strong driving appeal.
