The seller offers for sale this 1977 Porsche 911 Targa, powered by a 2.7-litre flat-six petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission. This 911 S Targa was imported from California in 2016 and underwent a complete restoration that same year, during which it was disassembled down to the last bolt. It is finished in anthracite grey, with the Fuchs alloy wheels painted in the matching shade. The interior is trimmed in full black leather and was re-upholstered in 2016. The engine was overhauled as part of the work, and the electrical system was attended to during the restoration. The car presents in good condition throughout.

The Porsche 911 first appeared in 1964 and quickly became the defining model of the marque. The Targa body style, introduced in the second half of the 1960s, combined open-air driving with a fixed roll-over bar and a removable roof panel, offering much of the experience of an open car while retaining additional structural rigidity. By the late 1970s the 911 used an air-cooled 2.7-litre flat-six mounted behind the rear axle, and the distinctive Fuchs forged alloy wheels had become a signature feature of the range. Today the air-cooled 911 Targa of this era is regarded as a sought-after classic, valued for its design, its driving character and its place in the model’s long history.
