The seller offers for sale a Porsche 911 2.0 S from 1969, a classic rear-engined coupe equipped with a 2.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and manual transmission. This matching-numbers car was imported from France and underwent a restoration in 2008, with around 25,000 km covered since. The restoration was featured in the July 2008 issue of RS Magazine, and a full documentation file is available. The car starts without hesitation, emits no smoke, and the engine runs quietly. The gearbox shifts smoothly and makes no unusual noises. The car has not suffered accident damage and shows no signs of visible rust. No technical upgrades were added, keeping it true to its original specification.
This model was only produced in 1969, just 1492 coupes, and equipped with the optional yellow headlights, which were only available on the French market.
The Porsche 911 2.0 S is one of the most celebrated models in the early 911 lineup. Introduced for the 1969 model year, it featured Bosch mechanical fuel injection, delivering 170 horsepower and a top speed of 225 km/h. The longer wheelbase introduced in this series improved handling stability, while the 6×15 Fuchs wheels and subtle body revisions enhanced its road presence. This was the final year of the 2.0-litre S before the introduction of the 2.2-litre model, making it a sought-after collector’s piece. Renowned for its precise driving dynamics and iconic silhouette, the 911 2.0 S represents the essence of Porsche’s engineering evolution.
