The seller offers for sale this 1977 MG MGB 1.8 Roadster, powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, paired with a manual transmission. This MGB cabriolet originally came from California in the USA and was restored in 1999 by Octagon in Hillegom. It has been in the current owner’s possession since 2016 and has been kept in indoor storage. The car is finished in Old English White. The body presents in good condition, including the underside. There is light rust on the seam of the front right wing, and a small crack of around two centimetres in the side of the soft top has been glued. The car is fitted with electronic 123Ignition, an overdrive, a stainless steel exhaust and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. It holds a valid Dutch technical inspection.

The MGB was produced by MG from 1962 until 1980 and became one of the most popular British sports cars of its era. It was offered as an open Roadster and as a closed GT coupé, and was powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine. From late 1974 the model adopted the larger impact bumpers seen on this 1977 example. Its straightforward engineering and classic proportions have made the MGB a long-standing favourite among classic car enthusiasts.
