Highlights:
– 2.2-liter 6-cylinder engine
– 4-speed manual transmission
– Previously repainted
– Only 830 built
The 1960 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Coupé is a stylish and technically refined classic from the iconic “Ponton” series, of which only 830 were built. It is powered by the 2.2-liter 6-cylinder engine, coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission. The 220SE was known at the time for its luxurious finish and cutting-edge technology. This example has been repainted in the past, so its appearance still looks fresh and well-maintained. Some signs of wear have developed here and there over the years.
The exterior is finished in an elegant cream-beige paint, perfectly combined with the gleaming chrome and original hubcaps. Inside, the beige velvet upholstery exudes comfort and class, along with beautiful wood veneer on the dashboard and doors. The interior has some signs of wear that complement the charm of this classic. The stylish steering wheel and classic instruments combine to create a harmonious cockpit that evokes the atmosphere of the sixties.
