Jaguar XJ6 Coupe | 1976
– 4.2-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine
– Rare manual gearbox with overdrive
– Marine Blue interior, inox exhaust and tyres
The seller offers for sale this 1976 Jaguar XJ6 Coupe, powered by a 4.2-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and manual transmission with overdrive. This two-door version of the XJ6 was produced between 1975 and 1977 and has undergone a complete restoration from top to bottom just two years ago. Every detail, from metalwork and paint to interior and mechanics, was renewed. The body was repainted, and the structure restored to good condition. The engine, suspension, and exhaust system have all been replaced or rebuilt, ensuring good performance. The interior was redone in elegant Marine Blue, blending modern comfort with period-correct style.
The Jaguar XJ6 Coupe, also known as the XJ-C, remains one of the most elegant British luxury cars ever built. Based on the standard XJ saloon but with a shorter, pillarless two-door body, it offered both refinement and sportiness. Only around 10,000 examples were produced, making it one of Jaguar’s rarer models. Powered by the legendary XK inline-six engine, it delivers smooth performance matched by the marque’s signature ride comfort. Its blend of craftsmanship, rarity, and design has earned it growing appreciation among collectors.
