This left-hand drive fixed head coupé was built on 2 November 1966 and dispatched via Jaguar Cars in New York to its first owner in Los Angeles, California, as confirmed by the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Production Record Trace Certificate. The car is finished in its factory colour of Valentine Beige over a beige interior, an exceptionally rare combination: a statement from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust confirms that only 46 cars were produced in this colour in 1966, of which just 20 were left-hand drive fixed head coupés. The seller purchased the vehicle about four years ago from a British owner, who had himself acquired it from an American owner, and all relevant registration and sales documentation is present. According to the seller, both the car and the restoration workshop were carefully selected, and the restoration was carried out under the supervision of a technical manager from Jaguar who had worked on this specific production line; the correspondence and technical instructions provided to the workshop are available.
