The seller offers for sale a 1967 Ford Mustang coupe, fitted with a freshly installed 5.0-litre V8 engine from BluePrint Engines (BP3024) delivering 300 horsepower. The car was imported from the USA (Las Vegas) in 2017 and has since undergone investment in both appearance and mechanical reliability. Key work includes new front suspension parts (control arms, ball joints), a restored dashboard, front seat refurbishment, new carpeting, and a new V8 crate engine installed in 2023. A final inspection is scheduled to be completed before the sale. The Mustang was adapted to meet German H-plate registration requirements.
Some minor imperfections may be present due to the car’s age. A small impact to the front bumper has not yet been repaired but is estimated at around €1,000 and can be addressed before delivery.
The interior is in presentable condition, with typical signs of use. New seat upholstery has been fitted at the front, while the rear bench comes with a replacement cover, though it has not yet been installed. Overall, the cabin shows as a functional and tidy space, with restored elements alongside some aged components consistent with a vehicle of this era.
The Ford Mustang was introduced in 1964 as a compact, sporty coupe with broad appeal and an affordable price point. It quickly defined a new segment—later known as the “pony car”—and became one of Ford’s most successful nameplates. The 1967 model year brought the first major redesign, featuring a slightly larger body and more engine options, better suited for the growing demand for performance and refinement.
The Mustang’s appeal lies in its versatility. It was available with a wide range of engines, from economical six-cylinders to high-performance V8s. Its relatively simple mechanics, combined with an endless supply of spare parts and aftermarket options, make it a favourite among classic car enthusiasts and restorers.
This particular car, with its BluePrint crate engine, represents a more modern take on the classic Mustang experience. BluePrint Engines is a manufacturer of performance engines, offering modern construction and improved materials while maintaining a period-correct driving feel.
The 1967 coupe’s styling—with its aggressive front end, long hood, and short rear deck—remains iconic today.
With classic Mustangs continuing to grow in popularity and value, especially those with V8 power and upgraded mechanicals, this example offers a balanced mix of vintage design and modern usability. While not fully concours-restored, it presents well and benefits from meaningful investment in performance and preservation.
