The seller offers for sale this 1975 Fiat Spider 124 CS1 1800, an elegant Italian roadster that perfectly combines classic design with driving pleasure. Designed by Tom Tjaarda for Pininfarina, this Spider embodies 1970s Italian charm with its long bonnet, round headlights and compact tail. Delivered new in California and imported to the Netherlands in 1996, the car underwent a thorough rebuild including new suspension rubbers, a respray in its original colour, and underbody protection. It has since been carefully preserved, never driven in rain and stored indoors. The 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine runs smoothly without smoke or unusual sounds, and the manual gearbox shifts cleanly. The cooling system was replaced two years ago, and the car remains mechanically strong. Inside, the front seats and soft top have been renewed, while the rest of the interior retains its original character.
This Spider is equipped with Abarth-style bumper replacements (original American bumpers are included), alloy ATS rims with almost new tires, a sporty rear silencer (original included), a luggage rack on the trunk with a picnic basket and rug and a cover for the garage.
The Fiat 124 Spider is a celebrated symbol of Italian design and open-top motoring. Produced between 1966 and 1985, it stood out for its sporty handling and refined aesthetics. Its lightweight body, rear-wheel drive and independent suspension deliver agile performance, while the Pininfarina styling adds lasting appeal. This example, with its California origins, solid condition and tasteful details such as Abarth-style bumpers, ATS alloy wheels and a luggage rack, represents an ideal balance between collectability and usability—perfect for leisurely drives or weekend events.
