This car was produced on 11 July 1939 in France, as confirmed by its Citroën authenticity certificate. It remained registered in the Vaucluse region until 1954, before being imported to the Netherlands in 1986. The vehicle was later moved to Belgium, where it underwent a restoration completed in 2014, followed by minimal use and display at several classic car exhibitions. In 2023, it was re-registered in the Netherlands with valid documentation.
During the restoration, the body was stripped to bare metal, repaired where necessary, and refinished in multiple coats of primer and paint. Chrome parts were replaced or refurbished as needed, and the underbody was treated for long-term preservation. The interior was reupholstered using period-correct materials and patterns, including new seat padding and matching carpets. Mechanically, the car received a overhaul with attention to the suspension, engine, and gearbox. It starts easily, runs smoothly with no smoke or noise, and shifts precisely through the manual transmission.
