The seller offers for sale this Citroën C6 F from 1929, powered by a 2.4-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine and equipped with a manual transmission. Purchased in 1972 by the current owner’s late father, the car was carefully restored and participated in various concours and vintage car rallies, including Baden-Baden. It has remained in the same family for 53 years and has been kept in a dry garage under cover. The paint presents nicely in beige with black fenders and a red roof, complemented by chrome details in fine condition. The interior was completely refurbished with fabric door panels and imitation leather bench seats, requiring only a small repair on the driver’s side. The dashboard retains its original instruments. The engine starts with assistance due to a flat 9-volt battery but runs without smoke or abnormal noises. The gearbox shifts smoothly, the lights are functional, and the car has not suffered rust or accident damage. This car drives on leaded petrol only.
The Citroën C6 F was one of the brand’s most prestigious pre-war models, introduced at a time when Citroën was pioneering modern automobile production in Europe. It combined robust mechanical design with a refined ride and elegant styling that appealed to both business and private customers. With its six-cylinder engine, the C6 offered smoother performance and greater comfort than many competitors of its time. Today, it stands as a symbol of the brand’s early innovation and craftsmanship, highly valued by collectors who appreciate authentic pre-war engineering and classic French elegance.
