The seller offers for sale this 1973 Buick Riviera Coupe with automatic transmission and petrol-powered V8 engine. This example is an original and well-preserved car that spent part of its life in New Mexico, reportedly used as a daily shopping car by a previous owner. The car was once resprayed in its original colour in the past and presents attractively for its age. The interior remains in original condition with visible age-related marks, including a crack in the dashboard, for which a matching dash cover is included in the boot. Power steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, a floor shifter and an alarm system (key is missing) are fitted. The current, unconfirmed mileage is 72.000 miles.

The Buick Riviera is regarded as one of the most distinctive American luxury coupes of the 1970s, especially in its iconic boattail design. Introduced as a personal luxury car, the Riviera combined bold styling with strong V8 performance and a comfortable driving experience. The sweeping rear design, long hood and wide stance gave the model a unique presence on the road, setting it apart from its contemporaries. Known for smooth cruising rather than outright sportiness, the Riviera offered refinement, torque-rich engines and a relaxed driving character. Today, the boattail Riviera is appreciated by enthusiasts for its daring design, classic American engineering and strong visual appeal, making it a recognizable and desirable classic.
