This rare Bentley 3.5 Litre Special Park Ward Open Tourer from 1935 is a beautiful example of craftsmanship and history in Le Mans style. The classic is a rebuilt based on an original Bentley 3.5 Litre, powered by a powerful 6-in-line engine of 3.5 liters. Originally designed as a luxury “silent sports car”, this Bentley was transformed over the years into a rally car with a nod to the iconic Bentley Blower. In the past 1.5 years, approximately €35,000 worth of optimizations have been carried out (with invoices), so that the car is now perfectly usable for classic rallies. Its performance does not lie: more than ten rallies driven, including one overall victory and several class victories.
The exterior is a tribute to the glory days of Bentley: a leather-covered body in classic British Racing Green, equipped with green-sprayed spoke wheels, leather bonnet straps and a robust black soft top with side windows. The interior is equally impressive with its richly upholstered dark red seats, black carpet and metal-worked dashboard – a tasteful combination of sportiness and British luxury. The included matching trailer makes it a real eye-catcher. In short, a unique appearance that not only makes an impression, but is also really ready for use.
