To present each vehicle as clearly and transparently as possible, Route 66 Auctions uses a standardized condition rating system. This system helps buyers gain an accurate understanding of the vehicle’s condition, ensuring a fair, clear and predictable bidding process.
In addition, we strongly advise buyers to view a vehicle in person before placing a bid. A physical inspection always provides the most reliable impression of a vehicle’s quality.
How does the rating work?
Sellers assess their vehicle across four mandatory categories, each rated on a scale from 1 to 5.
Route 66 Auctions does not assign these scores: the seller selects the correct rating for each category and is fully responsible for providing accurate and truthful information.
Our experts check the submitted ratings for consistency with the photos and documents provided, but the final responsibility for an accurate description always rests with the seller.
