Always inspect the vehicle before signing for receipt to confirm it matches the description and shows no visible damage or discrepancies.
Route 66 Auctions cannot be held liable for any differences between the actual vehicle and the description shown on the website.
Where Should I Collect the Vehicle?
The seller’s location (region and country) is shown in the product information on the vehicle page.
For privacy reasons, the exact address is only shared after payment has been received and both buyer and seller have coordinated transport or handover.
We recommend:
- Always making a clear appointment in advance for the pickup date and time.
- Carefully checking all official documents during the handover.
The Seller Requests a Signed CMR — What Does This Mean?
The CMR waybill is the official transport document used for vehicle shipping.
It includes details such as:
- Information about the sender and recipient
- Vehicle details and any included accessories (keys, documentation, etc.)
When receiving the vehicle, you must check its condition and sign the seller’s copy of the CMR as proof of delivery.
Only sign once you have:
- Thoroughly inspected the vehicle
- Received all accompanying documents
By signing, you confirm the condition of the vehicle and authorize Route 66 Auctions to release payment from the escrow account to the seller.
