The seller offers for sale this 1981 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe, in reality a 930 SC Super Carrera second series with a 3.0-litre flat-six petrol engine (204 hp) paired with a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. Around 2,000 km ago the car received a significant engine-out service by a Porsche specialist, including opening the engine, renewing worn components, replacing timing chains and installing new gaskets. It starts without hesitation, shows no blue or white smoke when warm and produces no strange noises. The 915 gearbox operates without abnormal sounds. A 964-look conversion adds updated bumpers and an electric rear spoiler, complemented by Borbet alloy wheels with rear tyres showing around 1,500 km. The black respray still presents with shine but displays age-related marks that are difficult to capture on photos. The interior remains original and tidy for its age. The underside shows only superficial oxidation and no structural rust. There is no known accident damage. Period options include sports seats, sports steering wheel, sports exhaust and a functioning anti-theft system. The car holds a valid technical inspection.
The Porsche 911 SC, built between the late 1970s and early 1980s, has earned a reputation for mechanical durability and approachable classic-car usability. Its 3.0-litre flat-six is praised for reliability when serviced properly, while the analogue nature of the 915 gearbox appeals to purists seeking an engaging driving experience. Compact dimensions, classic styling and dependable engineering have made the SC a popular choice among enthusiasts. With timeless design and rewarding handling, these models continue to attract drivers looking for character, performance and a direct connection to the early 911 heritage.
