Description

Rover 2000TC | 1967

– 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine
– Partially repainted with much of the original paint preserved
– Leather interior in rare Buffalo shade
– Featured in Swiss Classic magazine, Oct/Nov 2025

The seller offers for sale this 1967 Rover 2000TC, first registered in Switzerland and presented in good condition. The car remained with its first owner until 1978 before being dry-stored in a dealership for 25 years. In 2003, it was purchased by the current owner, who carried out a careful partial restoration including rust repair, a respray in white, and a mechanical overhaul. Chrome, grille, and body panels are all in fine condition, with only a minor shade variation on a repainted rear door. The leather interior in Buffalo shade is exceptionally well-preserved, complemented by a clean headliner, functional instruments, and a nearly new steering wheel. The car has passed the Swiss MFK for classic vehicles, confirming its strong mechanical and cosmetic standard.

The Rover 2000TC, part of the P6 range, was launched in 1963 as a technologically advanced sedan with a focus on safety and comfort. Its independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and refined ride made it one of the most sophisticated saloons of its era. The twin-carburettor TC version delivered a livelier performance, earning respect among enthusiasts for its reliability and balanced driving experience. With its elegant design, solid engineering, and understated character, the Rover 2000TC remains a desirable choice for collectors who appreciate British craftsmanship and originality.
