The seller offers for sale this 1950 Jaguar XK120, finished in its original Birch Grey colour and powered by a 3.4-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine with manual transmission. The car was originally sold in New York City through Hoffman and was imported from Illinois to Belgium in 2014. It underwent a detailed restoration over three years, resulting in an elegant and well-preserved example. The paint remains in its original shade, smooth and free of visible scratches or dents. The interior was renewed in 2021 in England by professionals using the correct leather colour, and gauges were professionally restored and calibrated. The vehicle includes a Twinmaster/Tripmaster by Halda, also calibrated. Mechanically, the car runs smoothly, starts without hesitation, and emits no smoke or unusual noises. It has been upgraded with front disc brakes, a custom-made stainless-steel exhaust, and a new aluminium fuel tank. The electrical system features a new original-style wiring harness, and lighting functions properly. The car has no signs of visible rust or accident history.
This beautiful cabriolet holds a valid technical inspection and is ready to drive.
