The seller offers for sale a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 from 1967, an iconic muscle car equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 7.0-liter V8 petrol engine. This vehicle presents in very good condition, having undergone an optical and technical restoration, in 2013 with period-correct paintwork in Wimbledon White with blue stripes, while retaining its authentic presence. It’s one of the 126 made with factory equipped airconditioning and oil cooler, built in Caroll Shelby’s famous Los Angeles airport factory. This GT500 is standing on 10 spoke Shelby rims, is equipped with power disk brakes, power steering, a fold down rear seat and a Shelby wooden steering wheel. The car has no start-up issues, no exhaust smoke, and the engine runs smoothly without unusual noises. The gearbox shifts well, electrical systems function properly and the car shows no history of accidents or visible rust. The interior is original, with only two small scratches on the seats that remain untouched to preserve authenticity. Maintained to high standards, the car has been stored in warm garages both in the USA and Finland, ensuring long-term preservation. It comes with a valid technical inspection. Registered with Finnish museum papers, it combines heritage, authenticity, and collectible value.

The Shelby GT500 is one of the most celebrated American muscle cars, introduced in 1967 as a high-performance evolution of the Mustang. Developed under the guidance of Carroll Shelby, it offered more power, aggressive styling, and enhanced handling, making it a legend on both road and track. Its 428 cubic inch V8 delivered immense torque and speed, while its distinctive design with dual stripes and aerodynamic details cemented its place as a cultural icon. Collectors prize the G.T.500 not only for its rarity but also for its place in motoring history as one of the ultimate expressions of 1960s American performance engineering. Owning a Shelby G.T.500 is regarded as holding a piece of muscle car heritage, combining driving excitement with investment potential.
