The seller offers for sale a 1978 MG MGB Cabriolet with a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and manual transmission. First registered in the Netherlands in 1992, the car was converted in 1994/95 to European specification with body-coloured bumpers and a respray in Brooklands Green. It has received ongoing maintenance and occasional repairs, including sill repairs and repainting in 2021. The car features leather seats, a wooden dashboard, and retains good paintwork and interior condition. It starts without hesitation, produces no smoke, and the gearbox shifts smoothly. Enhancements include a lowered suspension, overdrive gearbox, stainless steel exhaust, Moto-Lita sports steering wheel, electronic ignition, and a luggage rack. The car comes with both spoke wheels and original steel wheels fitted with winter tyres. The car holds currently a valid technical inspection certificate.

The MG MGB, introduced in 1962, became one of the most popular British sports cars of all time, thanks to its accessible price, timeless design and enjoyable driving dynamics. The convertible version offered open-air motoring combined with reliable mechanicals and a robust 1.8-litre engine. Known for its light handling and classic roadster appeal, the MGB developed a strong following among enthusiasts worldwide. Today, it remains an icon of affordable classic motoring, with a wide network of clubs, parts suppliers and specialists supporting owners.
