The seller offers for sale this rare Delahaye 235 Coupe L’Elfe from 1953. This one-off model is the last Delahaye designed by coachbuilder Joseph Figoni, who is known for several Delahaye/Talbot designs. It is reported that this Delahaye was used as Figoni’s personal car and was exhibited at Concours d’Elegance.
The restoration took 5 years to complete and cost over €200,000, with detailed photo documentation available.
The Delahaye 235 Coupe L’Elfe features a 3557cc 6-cylinder engine and a manual Cotal 4-speed transmission.
During the restoration, the steel body was stripped and repainted. The leather upholstery remains original with some patina. Unique features include the original Figoni sunroof, Figoni steering wheel, and the original radio.
