The PV 544 is powered by a 1780 cc four-cylinder petrol engine with a manual transmission. The fuel gauge is currently non-functional, and the red “amp” light remains on during driving, possibly indicating the need for alternator servicing.
In 2021, the body was resprayed in wine red using a durable two-component paint system. The car was originally black, but the new color suits its rounded vintage silhouette.
