The private seller offers for sale this 1970 Dodge Challenger, powered by a 5.2-litre V8 engine, paired with an automatic transmission. This cabriolet carries its original Spanish registration from July 1970 and has been restored. According to the seller, the 318 cubic-inch V8, rated at 233 hp, has been rebuilt, and the car has received new suspension, a new exhaust system and a new battery. The body has been repainted in red and the underside has been restored.

Inside, the seat upholstery has been renewed in tan with new foam, and the car is fitted with new carpeting, a new soft top and restored door and rear interior panels as well as a restored dashboard. The car rides on restored wheels fitted with new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tyres. The seller reports 52000 km.

The Challenger was Dodge’s answer to the Mustang and Camaro, launched for 1970 on the new Chrysler E-body platform shared with the Plymouth Barracuda. It offered a broad range of engines, from the economical 318 to the legendary 426 Hemi, and its long-hood, short-deck proportions have made it one of the defining American muscle cars of the era. The cabriolet versions were built in much smaller numbers than the hardtops, and the first-year 1970 cars are among the most collectable Challengers today.
