The private seller offers for sale this 1990 Volkswagen Transporter T3 Syncro, powered by a 2.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission. According to the seller, this T3 Syncro started its life as a Finnish fire brigade vehicle and was later converted into a nine-seater bus. It was brought to Belgium in 2016 or 2017, where the original engine was replaced by a 2.1-litre petrol unit. The seller bought the bus in 2018 and had the gearbox overhauled in 2023.

The bus is finished in blue with a yellow band around the body and 4WD lettering on the flanks. Inside, it has a driver and passenger bench in grey, tan vinyl bench seating in the rear and a red-painted interior, with a spare wheel stored in the rear compartment. The seller notes that the sliding door has a dent and that the bus otherwise shows signs of use.

The third-generation Volkswagen Transporter was built from 1979 until 1992 and is the last of the air-cooled-heritage bus lines to keep the rear-engine layout. The Syncro, developed together with Steyr-Daimler-Puch in Graz, added permanent four-wheel drive with a viscous coupling and raised ride height, and it was built in far smaller numbers than the two-wheel-drive models. Its go-anywhere ability and its practical, boxy body have made the T3 Syncro a sought-after classic for camping, work and overland use alike.
