The private seller offers for sale this 2005 Bentley Continental GT, powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, paired with an automatic transmission. Finished in black over a rich red leather interior, this left-hand drive coupé presents one of the most striking colour combinations for the model. According to the seller, the car was specified with the Mulliner package, the most exclusive specification offered from Crewe, and the interior features the characteristic diamond-quilted seats and door panels together with burr walnut veneers. The odometer shows 59,000 km, documented by a Japanese auction sheet. The car comes with two keys and a partly documented service history.
This Continental GT was imported from Japan, where it spent its life in a mild climate. The combination of black paintwork, red hide and Mulliner detailing gives the car a distinctive character compared with the many standard Continentals on the market. It is a true grand tourer, for those who want to travel quickly and in comfort, or simply enjoy one of the most iconic Bentleys of the past two decades.
The Continental GT was launched in 2003 and was the first Bentley developed entirely under Volkswagen ownership. It was a defining moment for the brand: a modern, four-seat luxury coupé with all-wheel drive and supercar performance, built by hand at Crewe. The model was an immediate success, became the best-selling Bentley in the company’s history at that time and transformed Bentley from a niche manufacturer into a global luxury brand. The first generation remained in production until 2011.
Under the long bonnet sits the 6.0-litre W12 with twin turbochargers, producing around 560 PS and an enormous wave of torque, delivered through a six-speed automatic gearbox to a permanent all-wheel drive system. The result is effortless acceleration and composed, secure progress in all conditions, with a top speed of more than 300 km/h. The design, with its muscular rear haunches, frameless doors, quad round headlamps and the signature matrix grille, has aged beautifully, and the cabin combines fine leather, real wood and knurled metal details in a way that still feels special today.
