The TVR S series was produced from 1986 to 1994 at the Blackpool factory in Lancashire, England. Built on a tubular steel chassis with a fibreglass body, the S series was TVR’s volume model during this period, offering an accessible entry point into the brand’s characteristically lightweight and driver-focused sports cars. The S4, produced from 1991 onwards, used a Ford-derived straight-six engine and represented the final evolution of the S series before TVR moved on to the Chimaera and Griffith models. The S series cabriolet featured a simple manual hood and traditional British sports car proportions.
